The Maija Dishcloth from Lapuan Kankurit is a light, soft and fast drying dishcloth made from an innovative combination of linen, tencel and cotton. The dishcloths are woven in Finland at Lapuan Kankurit’s own jacquard weaving mill. The combination of the fabrics results in a highly absorbent dishcloth with a unique and very tactile pattern.
Lapuan Kankurit is a Finish, family driven weaving mill, known for their innovative approach. The Hjelt family founded their first textile factory in 1917 and today, the 4th generation is running the mill and using weaving techniques that has been passed on through the years.
