This minimalistic black steel Bar Wagon from Please Wait To Be Seated is designed by Herbert Hirche in 1956. Herbert Hirche studied at the Bauhaus Dessau from 1930 to 1933 under Wassily Kandinsky and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The design of the Bar Wagon is clearly influenced by Herbert Hirches time at Bauhaus, with it's contemporary design, characterized by simple and objective functionalism. The bar wagon is made with black, thin steel plates, original 50’s wheels and structured security glass.
