Every single Akari Light Sculpture is a handcrafted masterpiece. The light through the thin, handmade paper creates a pleasant, warm glow, and the sculptural shape makes the lamp visually attractive.

The Akari lamp is handmade in Japan using washi paper produced from mulberry bark. The washi paper is cut into strips and carefully adhered to the bamboo ribbing. Each lamp has a collapsible construction which enables it to be flat packed until installed in a home.
