Originally, the Memphis Stoneware consisted of a very limited, handmade collection. Even though the production is now large scale, the crafted sensibilities remain and the original design has largely been unaltered. Human hands are still involved in every step of the process, and the stoneware and glaze are both dynamic, lively materials, retaining the distinctive feeling of craftsmanship in the design.

Touring Japan - Stilleben pop-up in Nagano. Rhubarb treats and Danish design

Stillebens tour of pop-up shop in Japan is continuing throughout 2022. Curated by our partners Nomad Inc the tour continues at the Omokage book&craft shop in Nagano.

Alongside displays of Stilleben's collections of glassware, stoneware and linen textiles, owner Kensuke Iwai will be serving homegrown rhubarb treats inspired by traditional Danish recipes for visitors to the pop-up to sample while shopping.

Copenhagen based ceramicist Robynn Storgaard celebrates slow living and conscious consumption in her work rooted in the concept and philosophy ‘For the Sake of Keeping’.

Robynn has just launched her first collection produced in a small, family owned ceramics factory.
