Den finske kunstner Maija Luutonen har base i Helsinki. I sin kunstpraksis kombinerer hun flere materialer og teknikker, men altid ledsaget af maleri – hendes yndlingsdisciplin, simpelthen fordi processen er afslappende. Luutonens værker har været udstillet på solo- og gruppeudstillinger både nationalt og i udlandet – herunder et af Finlands mest indflydelsesrige rum: Kiasma – Museum of Contemporary Art i Helsinki.

Fire af Luutonens karakteristiske malerier er nu blevet en del af Stilleben Print Collection: Maaliskuu, Heinäkuu, Valhallankatu og Lemuntie. Heinäkuu er det finske ord for juli måned.
