Ceramic bowls from the Memphis Tableware collection by STILLEBEN

The Memphis Tableware collection by STILLEBEN includes ceramic bowls in several sizes for breakfast, salads, or shared dishes. Each bowl has a simple shape and a small raised foot that gives it a balanced look on the table. The bowls can be combined with plates, cups, and mugs from the same series and are designed to be used every day – and to blend naturally with what you already have at home.

Mini Bowl – the smallest bowl

The Mini Bowl is the smallest in the Memphis series and comes in sets of two. It can be used for salt, small servings, or dips. The bowl is a miniature version of the larger Memphis Bowls and pairs beautifully with the rest of the collection.

Bowl Ø12 – small bowl for the table

The Ø12 Bowl is the smallest of the classic Memphis Bowls. Perfect for dressings, marmalades, or side dishes as part of a larger meal. The small foot adds balance to its shape, and the bowl stacks easily in your cupboard or on open shelves.

Bowl Ø17 – for breakfast and warm dishes

The Ø17 Bowl is ideal for breakfast, soup, or warm meals. It also works as a serving bowl for snacks, fruit, or shared dishes. With its soft round shape, it feels comfortable to hold and is easy to stack.

Grand Bowl – large bowl for salads and fruit

The Grand Bowl is the largest in the series and works well for salads, pasta, or fruit. It can also stand alone as a decorative piece in the kitchen or dining room. The shape balances function and presence, making it both practical and sculptural.

Designed in Denmark

Memphis Tableware is designed in Denmark by STILLEBEN founders Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Nordentoft. With backgrounds in ceramics, they focus on proportion, functionality, and colour – ensuring each piece works on its own and as part of a larger collection.

Glaze and material

All bowls are made from high-fired stoneware with a strong ceramic body and a clear glaze that enhances the colours. The glaze is developed in collaboration with our production partners to ensure a durable, scratch-resistant surface. The factory uses a single-firing process that fuses clay and glaze in one step, making production more energy-efficient.

Coloured bowls in seven glazes

The Memphis Tableware collection includes bowls in seven glazes. Dusty Blue is a muted blue, Terracotta a warm reddish-brown, Ice Blue a soft light blue, and Sand a natural beige. Rose is a gentle pink, Yellow a warm sunny tone, and Cocoa a deep brown. Whether you prefer blue, pink, or earthy shades, the colours can be mixed across the series to create a personal and balanced table setting.
